| SERVICES AVAILABLE |
| Consultations |
There are three kinds of consultations available to clients:
by phone, face to face or, *NEW!* -- a personal visit to your home for a 'pantry & frig makeover' (assess which foods you need to change). If you would like a one hour consultation, then you must set-up an appointment in advance. Both types of nutritional wellness consultations will include written recommendations.
The one hour nutritional wellness consultation will identify your short and long-term goals as well as establish a health profile. Lab tests, hair analysis and a symptom survey are some of the tools available to clients who opt for more in-depth information. Booklets, website pages, menus, and other information will be given to the client as part of their consultation package.
NEW!* -- PERSONAL MAKEOVER OF YOUR FOOD PANTRY AND REFRIG! If you are ready to take the plunge and find out which foods are not helping you achieve your dietary goals, call for a Food Makeover today! It may be the quickest way to learn what food choices you should be making. If you live in the Staunton, Virginia area, Ms. Langford, CNC, is available to setup a time that is convenient to you to identify the good, the bad and the ugly foods in your pantry and refrigerator.

Diagnostic Lab Tests
Newtritional Solutions is now using two labs for the benefit of the client. One of the labs is Diagnos Techs (diagnostechs.com). It is an excellent lab used by many medical practitioners throughout the United States. Clients can take advantage of up to 25 different lab tests, with prices ranging from $79 for any 3-5 tests, and up to $245 for any 20-25 lab tests. A client can opt to do only one test if they desire, such as a Yeast Culture which runs about $30. Diagnos Techs will send the client a “super bill” which the client can send along to their medical insurer.
Other types of labs tests Diagnos Techs offers are: male and female hormonal panels, adrenal and stress conditions, thyroid profile, food intolerances and immunity, parasitic and GI diseases, infectious diseases, bone health, and insulin resistance. The client receives the kit either by mail or in person, in which they either use a saliva, stool or urine sample for a particular test. Then it is mailed off by the client with their payment to the lab, and the results are sent to Newtritional Solutions about two weeks later. Once the client’s lab test results are received, Newtritional Solutions will contact the client to discuss them.
The other lab is Analytical Research Labs, Inc., (arltma.com) who do hair analysis. The client cuts a small sample of hair and sends it off to ARL to test for mineral and vitamin deficiencies as well as toxic metals. The client can opt for several types of hair tests. The most popular test is a report of mineral and vitamin deficiency as well as toxic metal content. The client’s lab test results will be sent to Newtritional Solutions who will share the information with the client.

Weight Management If weight management is one of the priorities of the client, then several factors will be addressed for implementation of a weight normalization program. Nutritional counseling for weight loss is now considered a TAX DEDUCTION by the IRS for 2010 TAXES. To find out more information, go to irs.gov and look for Publication 502 MEDICAL AND DENTAL EXPENSES (see WEIGHT LOSS in the Table of Contents).
Some of the weight management topics that will be addressed are:
| • |
keeping a diary of foods, snacks and beverages, as well as events that trigger stress and inappropriate food choices |
| • |
supplemental and nutritional evaluations to determine if the client needs specific supplements and enzymes to achieve their weight normalization goals |
| • |
a review of physical activity or exercise programs to determine the best one suitable for the client |
| • |
recommendations for health practitioners, such as a licensed social worker, or a massage therapist, etc. |
| • |
a Flower Essence questionnaire to address the client’s emotional wellness |
